So, jus what is a jiv?

To one, jiv(a) was a nickname given from a teacher to his student.  To many, jiv(a) describes:

A living being, or more specifically, the immortal essence of a living organism (human, animal, fish or plant etc.) which survives physical death.

The word itself originates from the Sanskrit Jivás, with the root jīv- ‘to breathe’. It has the same Indo-European root as the Latin word Vivus: “alive”. – Wikipedia, 9/21/2012

Staying true to its meaning, may this jiva forever help others to find a breath, or simply inspire them to jus jiv.
